6.4 Requirements for an Optimum Measurement Result
Requirement for an optimum measurement result is a steady
movement of the web in front of the CCD camera. Therefore
observe the following points during installation:
Installation location free from vibrations
No vertical fluctuations (height run) of the web of material.
If necessary, install additional supporting rollers for stabilizing
the web movement (see Mounting Supporting Rollers, page
55).
Web movement wave and fold-free
Web edges must not fold up
No spiral rollers in front of the CCD camera
6.5 Mounting Bracket
The mounting bracket (order number 233175) is used to fix the
CCD camera to the machine frame. The integrated fine adjust-
ment permits a quick and highly precise alignment of the camera
in three axes.
