6.4 Requirements for an Optimum Measurement Result
Requirement for an optimum measurement result is a steady
movement of the web in front of the CCD camera. Therefore
observe the following points during installation:
■ Installation location free from vibrations
■ No vertical fluctuations (height run) of the web of material.
If necessary, install additional supporting rollers for stabilizing
the web movement (see Mounting Supporting Rollers, page
55).
■ Web movement wave and fold-free
■ Web edges must not fold up
■ No spiral rollers in front of the CCD camera
6.5 Mounting Bracket
The mounting bracket (order number 233175) is used to fix the
CCD camera to the machine frame. The integrated fine adjust-
ment permits a quick and highly precise alignment of the camera
in three axes.
