Preferences. Printer settings on Preferences are completely explained in Chapter
6.
The
to-second delay allows you time to move images on the screen, open
menus,
or
move the current Workbench screen to the back to let another screen
image be printed.
SetMap
There are several different keyboards available for the Amiga. SetMap allows
you to select the correct
"key
map"
for the keyboard you wish to use.
The
key
map is a list that tells the Amiga the right character to print for each key on a
keyboard.
The SetMap tool
is
in the system drawer on the Workbench.
To
use SetMap,
open the system drawer and do the following:
1.
Select the SetMap icon, choose Info from the Workbench menu, and select
the Add gadget.
2. Select the String Gadget between the Add Gadget and the words Tool Types
and type
"KEYMAP
= " followed by the name
of
a new key map. The key
maps available are:
d for German keyboards
e for Spanish keyboards
f for French keyboards
gb
for British keyboards
for Italian keyboards
is for Icelandic keyboards
s for Swedish keyboards
usa
for standard United States keyboards

When you have finished entering the name
of
the key map, press the Return
key.
