Commodore Amiga 500 - Getting Information about the File System

Try typing the command:
DATE > myfile
PROTECT myfile
LIST myfile
You will see that the protect flags have been set to "-". Now, if you try:
DELETE myfile
AmigaOOS respond s:
Not Deleted - file is protected from deletion
To re-enable deletion of the file, type:
PROTECT myfile d
or
PROTECT myfile rwed
