2) Forward Daily tests. Set to yes, the System 3505 will forward daily tests, as the
report into the SYSTM 3505, to the Automation system; set to N (no), will stop the
SYSTM 3505from forwarding the daily test to the Automation system.
3) Send Restore when Account CLEARS. Set to Y (yes), the SYSTM 3505 will
send a restore for any account that is CLEARED from the SYSTEM 3505; some
accounts, such as Telegraph boxes, older Dialers; and 1221 Radio boxes may not
report a restoral signal. Thus, the SYSTEM 3505 can report a Restore to the
automation system when these accounts are CLEARED from the SYSTEM 3505.
Set to N (no), no restoral is sent.
4) ACK 3505 On good xfer TX ACK to CAPS
.
If the user intends to dispatch from
the Automation system, and would like the SYSTEM 3505 to ACK itself when
successfully transferring the new account information to the Automation system,
then set this selection to Y (yes). Please note that the SYSTEM 3505 cannot
guarantee that the Automation system actually processed the account successfully,
only that it passed that account to the Automation, and the Automation responded
with an ACKnowledgment to the SYSTEM 3505 that it accepted the account.
5) ON good xfer TX ACK on Network. If set to Y (yes), then when the Automation
sentds the SYSTEM 3505 an ACK on accepting the new account, the SYSTEM 3505
will pass along that ACK to its Network of SYSTEM 3505 units. The SYSTEM
3505 Network “Should I” menu (7 SET) must also have the TX ACK selection set to
Y (yes) for this feature to work properly. Please note that the SYSTEM 3505cannot
guarantee that the Automation system actually processed the account successfully,
only that it passed the account to the Automation, and the Automation responded
with an ACKnowledgment to the SYSTM 3505 that it accepted the account.
6) # of Characters to send. The user can select to send the automation system up to
either 50 or 80 characters of the account text message. When selecting 50, the
SYSTEM 3505will send page 1 of the account specific message and 30 or more
characters of the Generic message for a total number of characters not to exceed 80.
9.3.2
Priority Level
Refer to SYSTEM 3505 for more detail on the priority level. Please note that if the
user fails to program a message for any account, the account will default to the
lowest priority level #8. In most applications, the priority level from the SYSTEM
3505 is ignored by the automation system in favor of its own priority assignment.
This list passes the definition of the priority level word that the user assigned to the
automation system.
9.3.3
Handshake
The handshake signal is sent approximately every 20 Seconds to the automation
system. When an event condition is sent, this would satisfy the handshake
requirement in place of a handshake signal.
