If a particular zone is known to have problems, and continues to come in as
TROUBLE or ALARM, it can be taken out of service until the problem is

ZONE LOOKUP, and then the IN/OUT SERVICE button. The IN/OUT
SERVICE button may require a password. Enter the password. The printer will
print the words OUT OF SERVICE, along with the zone temporarily out of
service. It will still be displayed on the screen and OUT OF SERVICE will
appear on the left of the display. The zone status will be displayed in small type

To put a zone back into service, enter the zone number again via the upper
keyboard, and press ZONE LOOKUP, and then IN/OUT SERVICE
momentarily. The printer will print the particular zone, including the date and

SERVICE button.
