The Up/Down scroll keys can be used in conjunction with the programmable
keys. The ‘time’ area of the display will indicate the relative position within
the queue. For instance, the display will indicate ‘NOW DSP=3/37’ when
viewing third item of 37. This message will appear throughout use of the
Scroll mode. To terminate the Scroll mode, enter a numeric entry or press
either the Restore to Normal Queue button or the CLEAR button.
Pressing the Down Scroll Key will scroll the user to older events. Once the
down scroll key is pressed, the following programmable keys will appear:
6.2.13.3 Restore to Normal Queue
This will restore the display to Normal view with the last alarm to be received
on display.
6.2.13.4 Bottom of the Alarm Queue
This will display the last alarm in the queue.
6.2.13.5 Middle of the Alarm Queue
This will display the middle of the alarm queue.
6.2.13.6 Top of the Alarm Queue
This will display the first item in the queue.
6.2.13.7 SNGL/MULTI Page Disp
Pressing this key alternates the display between one line of bold text and a
multi-line display. Leaving the setting in single page display will be
overridden on the next new condition.
6.1.20.6 Restart Button
Located just inside the printer door, on the right hand side, this button will
restart the unit if the program should stop for any reason. If the SYSTEM
3505 should stop running, a built-in watchdog timer will turn on a Trouble
Buzzer in 4 seconds. Try to restart the system by either removing power from
the system (both AC and any battery backup), and turning power back on, or
open printer door and press the restart button located on lower right corner of
printer door opening.
6.2.13.8 Keyboard Jack
For hookup of KBD-II field programmable keyboard. When the keyboard is
plugged in, the fourth line of the display will prompt the user with a scrolling
message. The scrolling message will advise what steps to take next.
6.3 INDICATORS
6.3.1
AC Power
When external 24VDC power is connected to the SYSTEM 3505 the indicator
will flash during a loss of AC power. It remains at steady illumination during
normal operation.
