SHIFT key again. If no other key is pressed, the system will automatically take
itself out of the shift mode in approximately four seconds.
6.1.17
Status
To initiate printout of all zones, boxes and system errors which are not SECURE,
or those which are OUT OF SERVICE, press SHIFT, then STATUS.
6.1.18
Report Key
The REPORT key is used to print the NEGATIVE DIALER as well as the
missed radio box report. If the SYSTEM 3505 has the NEGATIVE DIALER
report or MUNICIPAL type RADIO boxes, then press REPORT to indicate what
DIALERS and or BOXES have failed to report in within the last 24 hours. The
REPORT button is the second function of the PRINT key. To print a REPORT
on these systems, press SHIFT, then REPORT.
6.2 PROGRAMMABLE KEYS
The five buttons along the bottom of the display are factory programmable based on the options
installed in the unit. The keys include:
6.2.1 History
Used to activate the History display.
6.2.2 Next Page History
Displays the next page of the history report.
6.2.3 Load SST Box Fast
With the “Solid State Transmitter” (SST) option installed, this button is used for
manually loading a box number via the “SST FAST” relay.
In the case of the manual retransmit option, any one through nine digit box code
can be loaded by entering the desired box number via the numeric keypad. Then
press LOAD SST BOX FAST to load in the box number. The display will now
indicate the box number to be transmitted and the preset number of rounds. The
rounds may be changed prior to transmission by pressing any number from zero
through nine. Zero will cause the unit to transmit continuously until manually
stopped. One through nine will give one through nine rounds respectively.
6.2.4 Load SST Box Slow
With the “Solid State Transmitter” (SST) option installed, this button is used for
manually loading a box number via the “SST SLOW” relay.
In the case of the manual retransmit option, any one through nine digit box code

press LOAD SST BOX SLOW to load in the box number. The display will now
indicate the box number to be transmitted and the preset number of rounds. The
