System 3505 Installation & Operation Manual
Digitize, Inc. 700248-0002 Rev. C 02/16
Specification Subject to Change Without Notice
20-2
20.1.2
MANUAL SST
This program option allows the operator to key a number into the SYSTEM 3505 and then
transmit that number at one of two output relays, at a programmable speed from 1/4 to 3
3/4 second timing. The number of rounds transmitted can override the preset number by
keying in a number from zero to nine. Zero will give constant transmit. This transmission
has manual abort also.
20.1.3
“ALL OUT” FOR SST
The program “ALL OUT” will cause the SST to transmit two rounds of “2”
followed by one round of the box number entered. This includes a key labeled
“ALL OUT” located with the programmable keys.
20.1.4
“HYPHEN” FOR SST
The HYPHEN OPTION, when activated after the first digit, will add a fourth
ratio to the transmission of box alarms. This uses the key labeled “-” (HYPHEN)
located on the UPPER keypad.
20.1.5
TPO-1 SPEED TRANSLATOR
The TPO-1 option gives the SYSTEM 3505 the ability to automatically
retransmit an incoming box at a preset selected speed. This facilitates running
street boxes at their highest speed (1/3 second), for quick decoding of boxes.
When each round of the box is decoded, the SYSTEM 3505 can retransmit to the
Air Horn or Bell Circuit, or other devices at a different speed. This shortens the
response time, and frees the 100 mA loops faster for response to another box.
20.2 TPO-2 AUTO TRANSMISSION
This is a standard feature with the SST-3 in the SYSTEM 3505. It allows the last received
alarm to be loaded directly into the transmitter. When the alarm has been received, push one
of the Transmit keys. The received box number will be loaded into the transmitter. When the
programmable key XMIT/STOP or XMIT SLOW is pressed the appropriate relay will code
out the box number.
20.2.1
Pre-Designated Box Numbers
This option will enable the operator, at the push of a button, to load a pre-
programmed number into the transmitter. This will eliminate transmission error
by having pre-coded information in the SYSTEM 3505. The option includes one
Keycap labeled with up to 5 characters.
20.2.2
TPO-4 Time Auto-Transmit
This option will enable the SYSTEM 3505 to automatically make a transmission
at a preset time or times of the day. The system has the day of the week also set,
