NOTE: A PRINT INFO SET programmable button is available with this menu. It is advisable to
print current information before editing selections as well after changes are complete. It is
helpful review starting set information prior to making any changes. It is equally advisable to
print set information after completing changes to verify that changes were made correctly.
Use the FUNC button to move between fields; use ↑↓ keys to change values (alternatively, the
programmable keys will activated in this menu-- “ADVANCE TO NEXT FIELD”, “CHANGE
DOWN”, and “CHANGE UP”—can be used to navigate this menu).

Set to YES (via CHANGE UP/CHANGE DOWN programmable keys or the ↑↓ keys), requires
the System 3505 to process the detection of a low battery condition at the radio box as a Trouble.
If set to NO, no Trouble state will be displayed, however the battery fault will be presented when
the negative box report is printed. Selecat “YES” if the system is connected to an automation
system and the ability to process the battery fault via the automation system is required.

Set to NO, radio box functions will not be assigned via the FUNC -XX table.
Set to YES (via CHANGE UP/CHANGE DOWN programmable keys or the ↑↓ keys), the FUNC
–XX table created as data has been entered will be used to assign radio box functions. This table
is generated based on the settings programmed in submenu steps 1-4.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The System 3505 is shipped with options preset to conform to ANSI
UL 864. Should the user elect to change these settings, those changes may not conform to
ANSI UL 864. For example, in the 1221 radio menu selecton for 11 SET, the user can change
the default carrier alarm notification from the preset 15 seconds to 30, 45, 60, 75 or 90 seconds to
foreign carrier notificasion.

5.10 1221 RAD TEST BOX OPTION
Important! The System 3505 is shipped with factory settings that conform to ANSI/UL 864. In the 12
SET menu for 1221 Radio, the user can change the failure notification that no radio box has been received
from the factory default of 1 hour (a setting that conforms to ANSI UL 864) to any other time reference up
to 24 hours. Changes to the factory preset may not conform to the ANI/UL 864standard.
