Line Type/Sel
Enter “2 to specify a line driver card in the external card rack. The display will
read:
For SYS 3K PORT#0
Using driver-RS-422/485
Has loop style=3
Changes are MADE as you enter
them.
Press FUNC to EDIT this MENU.
Press CLEAR to ABORT or EXIT
SETUP
Use the FUNC key to place the cursor in the field to be changed. Use the
↑↓ keys to select the TYPE and LOOP STYLE desired.
NOTE: As displayed and in the previous illustration, the port is set to “0”. This
indicates that the Line Driver type being selected is a “single” line output for the
Multiplex option. The single line selection supports only loop style 3, regardless
of the type of card selected. The value for the PORT# can be changed when the
cursor is flashing under the”0”. Any value from 1-128 can be entered; such an
entry indicates that other selections are for the MUX OPTION 32-Line Driver
card slot.
When this value is changed, the display will read:
For MUX line DRV#1
Using driver-RS-422/485
Has loop style=3
Changes are MADE as you enter
them.
