Check Blue lever on side of printer.
3. HEAD TEMPERATURE ERROR(Above 80c or less than –10c)
Check environment unit is located in. Call DIGITIZE for tech support.
4. VP VOLTAGE ERROR(Below 10 or above 27 volts)
Call DIGITIZE for tech support.
5. PRINTER CONTROLLER ERROR
Call DIGITIZE for tech support.
6. HEAD SHORT ERROR
Check wires on printer to make sure none are cut or removed from plug. Call
DIGITIZE for tech support.
7. HEAD OPEN ERROR
Check Blue lever on side of printer, or check wires on printer to make sure none are
cut or removed from plug. Call DIGITIZE for tech support.
8. CONTROLLER MODE SELECTION ERROR
Call DIGITIZE for tech support.

Changing the Thermal Paper
Press the KEY SELECT button, and then press the ‘PRINTER REWIND OFF’ soft
key, located under the screen. Then pull printer door out and swing it to the left.
Raise and lower printer lever to remove remaining paper from the printer and to
activate auto-feed.
1. Remove the empty spool from the supply reel. Remove the metal plate from the
outside of the take-up reel. Remove the used paper from the take-up reel and place
the empty spool from the supply reel onto the take-up reel.
2. Place new thermal paper roll on the supply reel. Insert paper from supply reel
through opening in the printer door, loop paper up and around and feed it into printer.
The printer will automatically thread the paper through. (Alternately, manually
thread the paper through the printer by lifting the BLUE level located on the side of
the print head).
3. Once the paper is threaded, depress and hold the paper advanced button until
enough is available to reach the take up reel. Thread the paper over the guide pin &
through the window. Allow for extra paper to wind securely on to the take up reel.
4. Tape the paper to the empty spool on the take-up reel and screw the metal disk
back on, making it snug to the empty spool. Reactivate the printer rewind by
pressing the ‘KEY SELECT’ then pressing the ‘PRINTER REWIND ON’ soft key,
located under the screen.
