OPERATION
6.1 CONTROLS
6.1.1
PAPER ADVANCE Button
This button will rapidly advance the paper tape of the thermal printer. The paper
will continue to advance as long as this button is held.
6.1.2
PRINT Button
This button will initiate a printout of the current date and time. For units with the
“Remote Line Printer” (RLP) option, this button will cause the RLP to print any
information obtained by the LOOK UP function. In the SET mode, PRINT prints
out options that have already been set. The PRINT expression in a menu
indicates when this functionality is available.

KEY SELECT Button
This button changes the legends of the five programmable keys.
6.1.4
BOX LOOK UP Button
The function of the BOX LOOK UP button is to quickly check the status or view
the “User Text” information of a particular telegraph box number. To do this,
enter the box number, then press and hold the BOX LOOK UP button. The
display will now show page 1 of the programmed “User Text” message, if any
exists. To view subsequent pages, momentarily release the BOX LOOK UP
button and press again. Repeat this procedure until the display indicates that
there are no more messages to be displayed. At this point, if the button is
momentarily released and then pressed, the display will revert to page 1. In the
event that no “User Text” message exists for a telegraph box number, a “canned”
message will be displayed.
The BOX LOOK UP button may also be used to view the subsequent pages of
“User Text” for any telegraph box number currently displayed.
6.1.5
DIALER LOOK UP Button
The function of the DIALER LOOK UP button is to quickly check the status or
view the “User Text” information of a particular dialer account. To do this, enter
the dialer account number, then press and hold the DIALER LOOK UP button.
The display will now show page 1 of the programmed “User Text” message, if
any exists. To view subsequent pages, momentarily release the DIALER LOOK
UP button and press again. Repeat this procedure until the display indicates that
there are no more messages to be displayed. At this point, if the button is
momentarily released and then pressed, the display will revert to page 1. In the
event that no “User Text” message exists for a dialer account number, a “canned”
message will be displayed.
The DIALER LOOK UP button may also be used to view the subsequent pages
of “User Text” for any dialer account currently displayed.
