22-3
The @P message overrides any default groups assigned, but the paging criteria must still
be met in order for a page to be sent. The system will still check the Groups to see which
priority levels are flagged to be paged. For example, an ALARM is received and the @P
message indicates Groups 1 and 5 should be paged. Group 1 is flagged to page Alarms
and Group 5 is flagged to page Troubles. The SYSTEM 3505 will send a page to Group
1 only.
The @P command is entered at any place on the first three lines on page 1 of the zone
specific user text message screen. The @P code may wrap around to two lines if
necessary. The user text message screen is illustrated below:
WATER FLOW
3RD FLOOR
BLDG 53 @P1, 5
ALM ZN 23-05
For more details concerning user text messages, refer to Section 4, User Text.
Pager @ command capability is included with the Pager option. Commands may also
be entered in a string, for example, @R12-5 @R123-14 .
The @R message may be entered any place on the nine pages of zone specific user
text messages.
The user text message screen is illustrated below:
WATER FLOW
3RD FLOOR
BLDG 53 @R123-14T
ALM ZN 23-05
For more details concerning user text messages, refer to Section 4, User Text.
The @R command capability requires the Relay Control option (Opt 5=01).
22.6 CODED OUTPUT CAPABILITY (@Q)
The SYSTEM 3505 has the ability to transmit the SST code via the Q-1R or Q-I/O module.
To transmit the SST box via the Q-Mux option, the SST3505/3505 option and the Zone to
Code SST 4000 options must be installed in the SYSTEM 3505.
The SYSTEM 3505 can automatically initiate a box transmission via a single Q-Mux
output device when a Zone, Dialer or Box Alarm condition is received. The following text
string must be added to any user text page for the desired zone, dialer or box: @QNN-AA-
BBBBB. Where NN indicates the node number (one or two digits from one to 32), AA
indicates the Q-Mux device address (one or two digits from one to 63), and BBBBB can be
any desired box number from one to five digits. The text location after the box number
must not contain a decimal number to indicate the end of the desired box number. The
command must have the dashes as shown or it will not operate. If a short is placed on
INPUT 1 on the rear of the SYSTEM 3505, it will skip the box transmission while the input
is shorted.
