System 3505 Installation & Operation Manual
Digitize, Inc. 700248-0002 Rev. C 02/16
Specification Subject to Change Without Notice
22-4
The default number of rounds to be transmitted is four, and the desired box speed, index
make break follows the SST SLOW settings. The box speed cannot be set to anything
faster than 1.4 seconds. The index should be left at the 50/50 make break.
When the SYSTEM 3505 sends a “make or break” signal to the node, it takes .3 seconds
before the relay will change state. If a new condition is sent prior to this time interval, the
first request will be ignored. The make break must stay 50/50, unless the box time is
reduced to several seconds.
The SST SLOW relay will code out the same box number as the Q-IR or Q-I/O device.
Pressing the STOP key will abort both the SST SLOW and the SST to the Q-Mux device.
To transmit only via the SST SLOW (or FAST), use the @B command in place of the @Q
command. To make multiple transmissions by adding several @B or @Q (or any other
supported @ commands) to the text screens. Only one box transmission will be made at
any one time.
For example, Zone 2 Alarm display reads:
Joe’s Hardware 1st Floor
@Q2-01-1234
This translates to: Node #2, Relay #01 will code 4 rounds for Box 1234.
