Policy-based Routing for BGP

match ip route-source This command specifies the source of routing messages advertised by routers and
access servers to be matched in a standard access list, an extended access list, or a
prefix list. Use the no form to remove this entry from a route map.
Syntax
match ip route-source {access-list-name | prefix-list prefix-list-name}
no match ip route-source [access-list-name | prefix-list]
access-list-name – Name of standard or extended access list.
(Maximum length: 32 characters, no spaces or other special characters)
prefix-list-name – Name of a specific prefix list.

Note that there may be situations in which the next hop and source router address
of the route are not the same.
Example
Console(config)#route-map RD permit 6
Console(config-route-map)#match ip route-source rd-sources
Console(config-route-map)#set weight 30
Console(config-route-map)#
match metric This command sets the metric value to match in routing messages. Use the no form
to remove this entry from a route map.
Syntax
match metric metric-value
no match metric
metric-value – The metric value in the routing messages.
(Range: 0-4294967295)
