3.7.6 Addressable Node Expander-Single Ring (ANX-SR)
The Addressable Node Expander Single Ring (ANX-SR) is a basic unit that offers the following
features:
• The unit contains a single E3 Series Local Network connection and one (1) Ethernet interface.
• Offers Ethernet connectivity for configuration and/or FocalPoint
®
communication.
• The single E3 Series network interface offers a Local Network connection that uses a ribbon
cable within a single cabinet.
• To add the twisted-pair and/or fiber-optic connections for communication outside the local
network, use the RPT-E3 -UTP or RPT-E3-FO sub-assemblies.
