Section 3: E3 Series System Connections
3.1 ILI-MB-E3 and ILI95-MB-E3 Connections
The ILI-MB-E3 and ILI95-MB-E3 electrical specifications are provided in the following sub-
sections.
3.1.1 Auxiliary Power Output, Resettable/Non-Resettable
• TB3-4 Resettable, 24 VDC, max. 2.0 amp
Special application: Suitable for use with projected beam smoke detector Model BEAM 1224.
• TB3-6 Non-resettable, 24 VDC, max. 2.0 amp
Special application: Suitable for use with the FM Series door holders.
• TB3-5, TB3-7 Common negative
3.1.2 Relay Connections
• System Alarm Contacts
– TB5-2 Normally Open
– TB5-3 Common
– TB5-1 Normally Closed
– Rated 2 amp @ 30 VDC (resistive)
– Transfers upon any system alarm except supervisory
• Supervisory Contacts
– TB5-5 Normally Open
– TB5-6 Common
– TB5-4 Normally Closed
– Rated 2 amp @ 30 VDC (resistive)
– Transfers upon any supervisory signal.
• System Trouble Contacts
– TB5-8 Normally Open
– TB5-9 Common
– TB5-7 Normally Closed
– Rated 2 amp @ 30 VDC (resistive)
– Transfers on any system trouble, supervisory and/or alarm
NOTE: Total output is 2.5 amp maximum combined.
