Section 7: Test and Maintenance
7.1 Test
The system must be tested periodically in accordance with the requirements of NFPA 72, National
Fire Alarm Code and/or applicable state and local codes.
7.2 Maintenance
We recommend the replacement of the system standby batteries after three years of service unless
otherwise indicated by the battery manufacturer. There are no user serviceable components in this
equipment. Sub-assemblies should be returned to the factory for servicing.
