PPU
The PPU (Parallel Poll Unconfigure) command disables the power meter
from responding to a parallel poll. This is effectively a universal disable.
SDC
The SDC (Selected Device Clear) command causes all HP-IB instruments
in the listen state, to assume a cleared condition. The definition of a
selected device clear is unique for each instrument. For the power meter:
All pending operations are halted, that is, *OPC? and *WAI.
The parser (the software that interprets the programming codes)
is reset and now expects to receive the first character of a
programming code.
The output buffer is cleared.
Bit Weight Meaning
0 1 Bit positions for response:
000 (bit 0), 001 (bit 1), 010 (bit 2),
011 (bit 3), 100 (bit 4), 101 (bit 5),
110 (bit 6), 111 (bit 7)

0 - response bit is cleared during a
parallel poll if requesting service
1 - response bit is set during a
parallel poll if requesting service

5 32 Always 1
6 64 Always 1
7 128 Always 0
