Lua
The Lua language and runtime are a mature and proven system used widely in
industry. Lua’s strengths including execution speed, small footprint,
embeddability, and robust security (sandboxing) make it a great fit for use in
FieldFox.The Lua language provides all expected usual and useful features in a
modern structured programming language, such as variable storage, looping,
dynamic typing, automatic memory management, extensibility mechanisms,
etcetera. More information on Lua, including documentation of language
syntax and features, can be found at http://www.lua.org.
Enabling/Disabling Scripting
How to select SA defaults:
—Press System 7
—Then Preferences
—Then Preferences
— Then use arrow softkeys or the knob to select Scripting
—Then
Edit for each of the following:
— Startup Script Enabled
——On (Default - recommended)
——Off
— Startup Script
Scripts are stored internally on the FieldFox here:
\InternalSD\UserData\Scripts\Lua.
