13.29.1 Shortening of the floor conveyor chain

• Remove the cotter pin (1) on the chain connecting link (3)
• Remove the locking piece (2).
• Shorten the chain by 2 or 4 links.
• Connect the chain with the chain connecting link (3).
• Secure the locking piece (2) and cotter pin (1).
Note
Both chains of the floor conveyor must be shortened by the same length. On
the dual floor conveyor, the relevant chair pairs belonging together must be
shortened.
• Re-tension the tension spring (3) until the screw (5) can be pushed through again.
• Remove the threaded spindle and screw from the bore (7).
