10 ISO operation
10.1 Method of operation
The ISO operation is used exclusively for machines and systems that conform to application
level 1 of the International Standardisation Organisation (ISO) 11783. The purpose of ISO
11783 is to provide an open, interconnected system for the electronic systems in the vehicle.
Through a uniform and easy to understand system, ISO 11783 shall allow the electronic control
units to communicate to each other. Simple, adaptable control components, which are
separated from the actual display, can be used by the display as a performance monitor for the
tractor as well as a monitor for an ISO 11783 accessory unit.

Caution!
Make sure during assembly not to tighten the connection cables or allow them to come
in contact with the tractor wheels.
Installing the wiring harness supplied with the machine.
To do this:
• Connect the 3-pin plug (DIN 9680) to the power outlet. The power socket on the machine
side is on the front metal cover (5)
• Connect the socket (4) to the front metal cover
• Connect the 9-pin ISO plug to the ISO bus socket (1) on the tractor.
