Danger! - Irregular maintenance of brakes
Effect: Danger to life, injuries or damage to the machine.
• Adjustment and repair work on the brake system must only be performed by authorised
professional workshops or recognised brake services.
• Only a machine with an intact brake system may be used for work in the field or for
travelling on roads.
• Irregularities or malfunctions in the brake system must be eliminated immediately.
• No changes may be made to the brake system without the approval of KRONE.
• Have the brakes checked regularly by a specialist workshop.
• Replace worn or damaged brake hoses immediately.
• KRONE is not responsible for natural wear, defects caused by overload or changes
made to the brake system.

15.1.1 Brake setting
Depending on how the machine is used, the wear on and proper functionality of the brakes must
be checked regularly and reset if necessary.
An adjustment is required when about 2/3 of the max. cylinder stroke is used to achieve full
braking.
Set the axle on blocks and prevent it from being moved unintentionally.
