13.2 Servo control for asynchronous motor (SC-ASM)
The motor control is based on a feedback, eld-oriented and cascaded controller structure
and enables a dynamic and s
table operaon in all four quadrants.
Precondions
•
The ser
vo control (SC ASM) is only suitable for asynchronous motors.
•
The servo control (SC ASM) requires a feedback of the posion.

13.3 Sensorless control for synchronous motor (SL-PSM)
13.3.1
Required commissioning steps
1.
Oponal: Acvate ying restart circuit:
•
From rmware version 4 onwards, a ying restart circuit for the synchronous motor up
to speeds lower than half the rated speed is supported.
•
If the ying restart circuit shall be used, set the start method "Flying restart circuit [2]"
in . More sengs are not required for the ying restart circuit at sensorless control of a
synchronous motor.
2.
Oponal for a speed control with torque limitaon in operang mode 0x6060 = "MS:
Velocity mode [-2]":
•
Select the source in for the posive torque limit source and set it accordingly.
The torque
limitaon (parameter 0x2949:001/002) can only be used for open-
loop controlled operaon of the SL-PSM, not for closed-loop controlled opera-
on.
