13.6.5 Motor control sengs
13.6.5.1 Speed controller
The speed controller is automacally set when the motor has been selected from the motor

The automacally calculated sengs for the speed controller enable an opmal control
behaviour for typical load requirements.
Manual post-opmisaon of the speed controller
1.Seng of the gain
Set the proporonal gain V
p
in parameter 0x2900:001.
a) Specify speed setpoint.
b)
Increase parameter unl the drive gets unstable (observe engine noise). 40x2900:001
c)
R
educe parameter unl the drive runs stable again. 40x2900:001
d)
Reduce the parameter to approx. half the value. 40x2900:001
2.Seng of the reset me
Set the reset me T
n
in par
ameter 0x2900:002.
a)
Reduce parameter unl the drive gets unstable (observe engine noise). 40x2900:002
b)
Increase parameter unl the drive runs stable again. 40x2900:002
c)
Increase parameter to approx. double the value. 40x2900:002
3.Seng of the rate me
Set the rate me T
d
in par
ameter 0x2900:003.
a) Increase parameter during operaon unl an opmal control mode is achieved.
40x2900:003
Automacally calculated sengs for the speed controller
We recommend a manual
post-opmisaon for the opmal operaon.
The
funcon for automacally calculang the gain and reset me is executed via the parame-
ter 0x2822:014.
The following equaons apply to a "rigid" system.
•
F
or
elasc systems and systems with batches, the determined gain must be reduced.
•
The moment of inera required for the calculaon is the sum of the moment of inera of
the motor and the load mass ineras transformed to the motor side.
