6.2.9 Manual jog (inching mode)
The "manual jog" funcon enables manual traversing of the drive ("inching mode").
"Manual jog" can be acvated via 2 control signals in the technology applicaon. "Manual jog"
is possible in the posive and negave
direcons.
•
As long as the c
ontrol bit is set, the drive moves.
•
If both requests are set simultaneously, the drive stops.
•
If the reference is known and the soware limit switches are acvated, posioning to the
c
orresponding soware limit switch is carried out.
Excepon: If the manual jog has been stopped manually before this by reseng the con-
trol inputs, a posioning to the corresponding soware limit switch is aborted.
The drive brakes with the set deceleraon to the posion of the corresponding hardware
limit switch.

If the reference is not known or the soware limit switches are not acvated, the axis only
stops at the hardware limit switch.
