7.7 Posion clutch
A path-based clutch is used for the posion clutch.
The Clut
ch engagement mode parameter species whether the clutch operates synchro-

ch synchronises the posion of the drive axis to the master posion.
The duraon of the clutch engagement process depends on the relaon between the ini-
al situaon of the posions and the master and drive axis velocies.

ch synchronises the velocity of the drive axis to the master velocity.
The clutch engagement process starts aer acvaon. Aer the clutch process, the oset
between the posion of the drive axis and the posion of the master axis is constant. The
oset can be eliminated by seng the parameter Control signals bit 18 = TRUE The posi-
