4 Commissioning
The purpose of commissioning is to adapt the inverter as part of a machine with a variable-
speed driv
e system to its drive task.
4.1 Important notes
DANGER!
Incorrect wiring can cause unexpected states during the commissioning phase.
P
ossible consequences: death, severe injuries or damage to property
Ensure the following before switching on the mains voltage:

Wiring must be complete and correct.
▶
Wiring must be free of short circuits and earth faults.
▶
The motor circuit conguraon (star/delta) must be adapted to the inverter output voltage.
▶
The motor must be connected in-phase (direcon of rotaon).
▶
The "emergency o" funcon of the overall system must operate correctly.
