10 Congure speed control
Two
operang modes are available for conguring the speed control:
•
Operang mode "CiA 402 Velocity mode (vl)" ^ 172
Here, a speed-controlled movement of the drive is realised by dening a speed setpoint.
•
Operang mode "CiA 402 Cyclic sync velocity mode (csv)" ^ 177
This operang mode provides a fast speed follower with torque/feed force feedforward
control.
The condions are a correct entry of the motor data (Motor data) and the parameter seng
of the motor control (Conguring the motor control).

The following describes the steps required for conguring the speed control.

Set the maximum motor speed in Max motor speed . 40x6080

Set the rated motor torque in Motor rated torque . 40x6076

Set the posive torque limit. 40x60E0

t the negave torque limit. 40x60E1
The speed control is now acve and the inverter responds to the speed setpoint.
