The master value correcon is a superimposed control loop. A master posion value is calcula-
ted based on the master velocity and with the aid of marks. This closed loop control makes it
possible to compensate for mark osets on the material, with reference to the master posi-
on. The cycle length of this corrected master posion value, which corresponds to the dis-
tance between the marks (register cycle), is specied in the Mark distance parameter.
