characterisc control for asynchronous motor (VFC open loop)
The V/f characterisc control is a motor control for convenonal frequency inverter applica-
ons. It is based on a simple and robust control mode for the operaon of asynchronous
motors with a linear or square-law load torque characterisc (e.g. fan). Because of the mini-
mal parameterisaon eort, such applicaons can be commissioned easily and quickly.
Precondions

/f characterisc control is only suitable for asynchronous motors.

ou want to actuate a drive with a square-law V/f characterisc: Please always check
whether the corresponding drive is suitable for operaon with a square-law V/f character-
isc!
