4.4 Commissioning
Pr
erequisites
•
The mechanic
al and electrical installaon of the inverter is complete.
•
If necessar
y, the motor is mechanically decoupled from the system.
•
Check whether the system can be mechanically damaged if the non-decoupled drive
makes uncontrolled movements.
•
The connecon between the inverter and the engineering PC with instal-
led »EASY Starter« has been established.
•
The »EASY Starter« is open and connected to the inverter.
•
The inverter is supplied with voltage.
•
For parameterisaon purposes, it makes sense to supply the device with 24 V if the
mains voltage and the motor data deviate from the default seng. 4Funcon assign-
ment of the inputs and outputs (default seng) ^ 37
•
If it has been ensured that the mains voltage and motor data sengs correspond to
the real condions , the mains voltage can be connected.
•
The device list of the »EASY Starter« contains the inverter with the correct device descrip-
on.
•

For an explanaon of where the device list can be found, please consult the online help
of the »EASY Starter«. Press the F1 key to call up the online help.

No fault is indicated by the inverter diagnoscs.
•
Check the LED s
tatus displays.
•
Check the error messages.
•
Check available applicaon credit on the storage medium.
Commissioning
The ve main commissioning steps are shown in order towards the top of the Sengs tab.

that need to be set.

sengs The basic sengs are sucient for drive rotaon .

Check every preset parameter value to determine whether it can be retained for the applicaon.

If a v
alue has to be changed, click the cross-reference highlighted in blue to which the parameter is assigned. A new
interface opens. Here, the relevant value can now be changed.

Once all parameters have been correctly set in the basic sengs, you can allow the drive to rotate .
Communicaon These commissioning steps are for adjusng the drive and only have to be adapted where necessary.

Seng and transferring safety parameters
Safety-relevant parameters only have to be set for devices that feature integra-
t
ed safety engineering or safety modules.
Observe the online help informaon on the safety parameter list.
In »EASY Starter« and »PLC Designer«, safety parameters can only be set and transferred using
the sa
fety parameter list. When a device featuring integrated safety engineering or a safety
module is selected in the device list, the safety parameter list becomes available in the form
of an addional tab.
