7.8.4 Gearbox factor correcon
Modied register properes lead to a changed, real register length. The dierence to the par-
ame
terised register length Sensor distance leads to correcons in always the same direcon
(posive or negave). 40x5041:001
This correcon is inecient and leads to increased energy consumpon and increased
mechanical stress. The gearbox factor correcon calculates the opmum setpoint velocity of
the master value in this case.
The correcon value is determined from the mean value of the posion errors. The correcon
value aects the setpoint velocity of the master value axis. When the gearbox factor is adjus-
ted, the constant part of the posion errors is eliminated and the correcon is made in the
posive and negave direcons.
If the selected gain is too high, this can lead to an excessive setpoint velocity.
