20. Make sure that in the Status column, the field for the DHCP server states Running.
If a computer in the network must receive an IP address in the marketing scope or sales
scope, the computer must include a static IP address configuration with the IP address,
subnet mask, and gateway address of the gateway that is used for the marketing scope or
sales scope.
To enable a computer with a Windows operating system to receive an IP address from
the gateway for the marketing scope or sales scope, do the following:
1. Navigate to the properties of the network interface card.
2. Open the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties pop-up window.
3. Select the Use the following IP address radio button.
4. Configure the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address for the marketing or sales
scope.
