Configuring Auto-Fabric
This section describes commands to configure virtual chassis on an OmniSwitch.

Enabling/Disabling Auto-Fabric
Auto-Fabric can enabled or disabled globally or per interface. To enable or disable auto-fabric globally or
on an interface use the auto-fabric admin-state command. For example:
-> auto-fabric admin-state enable
-> auto-fabric interface 1/1 admin-state enable
Starting the Discovery Process
The discovery can be manually started. To manually begin the discovery process use the auto-fabric
discovery start command. For example:
-> auto-fabric discovery start
Configuring Auto-Fabric Protocols
Each protocol can be enabled or disabled globally or per port. To enable or disable protocols use the auto-
fabric protocols command. For example:
-> auto-fabric protocols lacp admin-state disable
-> auto-fabric protocols mvrp admin-state enable
-> auto-fabric protocols spb interface 1/3 admin-state disable
Configuring Discovery Interval
Configurable for LACP and SPB. To configure the discovery timer, use the auto-fabric discovery-inter-
val command. For example:
-> auto-fabric discovery interval 60
