For models 1312.8000Kxx:
1.00 mm RF input connector for frequencies up to 85 GHz (90 GHz with option
R&S FSW-B90G)
Risk of instrument damage
Do not overload the input. For maximum allowed values, see the data sheet. For AC-
coupling, a DC input voltage of 50 V (1.00 mm connector: 25 V) must never be excee-
ded. For DC-coupling, DC voltage must not be applied at the input. In both cases, non-
compliance will destroy the input mixers.
Furthermore, for R&S FSW85 models, do not fasten the 1.00 mm RF Input connector
with a torque larger than 0.23 Nm. Rohde & Schwarz offers an appropriate torque
wrench (R&S
®
ZN-ZTW Torque 0.23 Nm; delivered with the instrument).
Connect a device under test (DUT) to the R&S FSW to provide RF input which is then
analyzed. Connect the DUT to the RF Input on the R&S FSW via a cable equipped
with an appropriate connector.
For R&S FSW85 models, which have two input connectors, you must define which
input source is used for each measurement channel.
