You can lock the terminal interface but maintain the continuity of session, to prevent it from
being accessed by setting the temporary password. The terminal interface can be locked by the
steps below:
Enter the lock command, and the system will prompt you to enter the password:
Enter the password, which may be any string.The system will prompt you to confirm the
entered password, and then clear the screen as well as show the "Locked" information.
To enter into the terminal, enter the set temporary password.
To use the terminal locked function at the terminal, execute the lockable command in the line
configuration mode, and enable the characteristic to support the terminal lock in corresponding
line.

To support the use of the lock command at the terminal, execute the lockable command in the line
configuration mode. The terminal doesn’t support the lock command, by default.Use the no
command to cancel the setting.
This command is used to support the terminal lock function in corresponding line. To lock the
terminal, execute the lock command in the EXEC mode.
