Show the candidate devices.
cluster enable
Use this command to create a cluster, set the cluster name and specify a serial number for the
commander device. The device with this command executed will be the commander device. Use
the no form of this command to delete the cluster and make the commander device become the
normal device without belonging to any cluster.
cluster enable name [number]
no cluster enable
Character string of the cluster name,
which is up to 31 characters.
(Optional) set the serial number for the
commander device within the range of
0 to 255. The default value is 0.
No cluster is created by default.
Global configuration mode.
This command can be successfully executed only on the devices that
meet the following conditions of becoming the commander devices:
1. Run the cluster-supported software.
2. Do not belong to any cluster.
Besides, in order to manage the cluster and discover the candidate
device effectively, the following requirements are needed:
1. One IP address is needed.
2. Run the LLDP protocol.
Executing this command on the commander device will change the
cluster name to the new set value, but the serial number of the
commander device can not be changed. Input the command show
cluster to show the related configurations in the Privileged EXEC
mode.
