Leg extensions
This is the basic exercise for isolating the
quadriceps muscle and it is used both for
training and rehabilitation.
Muscles used: quadriceps
Movement:
- position the backrest in the first hole
- fit the discs on the pin between the padded
rollers
- remove the lock to adjust the position of the
rollers
- sit on the bench, put your feet behind the
rollers and grasp the handles
- push on the rollers with the tibia and extend
your legs, then return to the starting position;
the return movement must be slower than
the outwards movement.
