Abdominal crunch
This is the basic exercise for isolating the rectus
abdominis muscles.
Muscles used: abdominals
Movement:
- position the backrest in the third hole
- lie down on the bench and place your feet
behind the rollers
- curl your chest upwards, keeping your lower
back pressed against the bench
- you can either fold your arms across your
chest or, if the muscles are already trained,
behind your neck.
