Lateral raise on bench
This exercise works on the rear part of the
shoulders and therefore greatly improves
posture.
Muscles used: rear deltoid
Movement:
- incline the bench with the handle
- lie down on the bench with your feet on the
ground
- in the starting position your arms are facing
the ground, with your elbows slightly bent
- raise your arms, keeping them in line with
your shoulders; when fully raised the palms
of your hands should be turned towards the
floor
- the elbows must be kept at the same angle
throughout the exercise.
