Step 1: Insert reference material and enter distance from the
CCD camera
›› The Off or Factory calibration method has been selected in the
Display, Scan, Linear. menu (see Selecting the Calibration
Method, page 156).
›› The Calibration menu is opened.
›› The LED lighting of the light box is switched on.
1. Insert a material strip with a known width and thickness (refer-
ence material) in the center of the camera measuring range.
Attention! The width of the reference material must not
exceed 100 mm!
2. Determine the distance A from the bottom side of the reference
material to the sensor level of the CCD camera.

3. Enter the distance value determined into the edit field.
4. Confirm the entry with the
button.
The display changes to the next step.
Step 2: Enter thickness of the reference material
1. Enter the thickness of the reference material into the edit field.
2. Confirm the entry with the
button.
The display changes to the next step.
Step 3: Enter width of the reference material
1. Enter the width of the reference material into the edit field.
2. Confirm the entry with the
button.
The display changes to the next step.
