To configure a BERT pattern for DS1/T1/E1, use one of the following commands:
PurposeCommand
Sends a BERT pattern on a line, where:
channel-numberNumber identifying the
specific T1 channel where you want to run
BERT.
e1-number Number identifying the specific
E1 channel where you want to run BERT.
patternSpecifies the type of repeating BERT
test pattern. Supported values are 0s, 1s, 1-in-8,
2^11, 2^15, 2^15-inverted, 2^20- O.153,
2^20-QRSS, 2^23, 2^23-inverted, 2^9, 3-in-24,
and alt-0-1.
interval time Specifies the duration of the
BERT test, in minutes. The range is 1 to 14400.
Router(config-controller)# t1 channel-number bert
pattern pattern interval time
or
Router(config-ctrlr-sts1)# e1 e1-number bert pattern
pattern interval time
