POWER SAVING COMMANDS
The Power Saving commands in the Command Line Interface (CLI) are listed (along with the appropriate
parameters) in the following table.

Each command is listed in detail, as follows:
config power_saving mode
Purpose
To configure the power saving mode on the switch.
Syntax
config power_saving mode [hibernation | led | length_detection
| port] [enable | disable]
Description
The config power_saving mode command is used to configure the
power saving mode on the switch.
Parameters
hibernation – Configure the hibernation state to enable or disable.
The default value is disabled.
led – Configure the led state to enable or disable. The default value
is disabled.
length_detection – Configure the length detection state to enable or
disable. The default value is disabled.
port – Configure ports state to be enabled or disabled.
[enable | disable] – Enable or disable the power saving feature.
Restrictions
Only Administrator or operator–level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure the power saving mode on the switch:
DGS-1100-06/ME:5# config power_saving mode port hibernation enable
Command: config power_saving mode port hibernation enable
Success!
DGS-1100-06/ME:5#
