selection adds to the false number rejection during lightning storms or when a protocol such as 3-
1 is in use. The greater the number of digits, such as 4-2 or 5-2, the less prone the system will be
to false box decoding. The System 3505 also implements a process where each tone length is
checked to insure that it meets a minimum an dmaximum time requirement as part of its false box
display detection, in addtion to the “Yes/No” selection in this menue.
NOTE: A box must be programmed into the Negative Box memory (12 SET) in order to be
decoded if YES is selected.

Manual 1221 Radio Box system use the same funciton code to represent condidions such as
“FIRE PULL HOOK” or “MEDICAL” or “POLICE”, etc. To avoid redundant addition of the
same basic message for each box in the system, this menu allows the user to default the two digit
alarm code to a canned message. Used n conjunction with the “Generic” message entered, the
activation of one of these standard function code zones will provide the user with what was
activated as well as the location of the activation.
