# Configure the IP address of Ethernet 1/1 as 1.1.1.2, and the IP address of the sub interface as
2.1.1.2. (Details not shown.)
# Configure the local SIP server to operate in alive mode.
1. Select Voice Management > SIP Local Survival > Service Configuration from the
navigation tree to access the following page.

2. Select Enable for Server Running State.
3. Enter 2.1.1.2 in IP Address Bound to the Server.
4. Select Alive for Server Operation Mode.
5. Enter 3.1.1.1 for Remote Server IP Address.
6. Click Apply.
# Configure user 1000.
7. Select Voice Management > SIP Local Survival > User Management from the navigation
tree, and click Add to access the following page.
