5. Modifying the EMF settings:
Press Meas Setup 4
> More > EMF OFF then
— EMF TriAxial [OFF] disable/enable the EMF tri-axial
measurement (default == OFF)).
— Press Scale/ Amptd > More > Unit dBm choose units
(default == dBm).
—Back to exit to the previous softkey menu.

How to Use the Manual EMF Channel Power
This manual EMF channel power method procedure is used to adjust the
antenna axes when the antennas are to be moved physically and then the X, Y,
and Z axes setting values are assigned.
Importing and selecting the X/Y/Z antenna factors:
1. Press System > Utilities > EMF Antennas
2. Press
Antenna Select [Manual] (Default) then
3. Verify you are measuring
Channel Power (refer to step 1 on page 233) then
4. Press Meas Setup 4
> EMF Off then
5. Press
EMF Axis Select [Off] – to select an antenna axis
6. For this example, press
Axis X
The FieldFox display updates to read “X axis Channel Power” and
channel power values (dBm /Hz).
The saved results are only accurate as long as User Corrections do not
change. The User Corrections include Antenna and Cable compensation,
and if those compensations change in any way, it will invalidate the saved
measurement results.
Is is recommended that the
Clear Saved Results softkey is pressed for a
new equipment setup or the Antenna Corrections are modified.
To indicate that a user correction has been changed, an asterisk(*) is
displayed to indicate that the Saved results has been compromised and no
longer valid.
