How to Set Up Mapping Settings
——List files (*.csv and *.kml) are save-recalled to:
"[CurrentDevice]:\RecordPlayback\CS\"
——Record-Play files are save-recalled to:
"[CurrentDevice]:\RecordPlayback\CS\"

System – Sets the User Folder to the user defined system
folder path/name:

— Then File Type
— KML or
— CSV (default)
— Then
Save Log File.

Recall Log File.

Auto Save ON (default = OFF). To avoid loss of data, if
power loss occurs.

8. Set up the outdoor mapping:
a. Press Trace 6 > Data Logging
b. Then press
Record
c. When done, Stop
d. Save results to KML file.
9. View KML with map tools.
— On the FieldFox, see the data results overlaying OpenStreetMaps’
pictures.
Or use Google Maps or similar to view your maps on your PC. Refer
to
“Import and Play back KML Files into 3rd Party Software
(Example: Google Earth with Animation Tool)” on page 501
