(AMS1/2Intensity)”parameter(s

Start/Attack/Decay/Release Level
Theseparametersspecify the amount of pitch change.
Theactualamountofpitchchangewilldependonthe
“Intensity (AMS1/2 Intensity)” parameter (s
ee below).
For example, with an “Intensity” setting of +12.00, a
“Level”settingof+99wouldraisethepitchoneoctave,
anda“Level”setti ngof–99wouldlowerthepitchone
octave.

Attack Level
Specifies the amount of pitch change when the attack
timehaselapsed.
Release Level
Specifiestheamountofpitchchange whentherelease

Theseparametersspecifythetimeoverwhichthepitch
changewilloccur.

Attack Time
Specifies the time over which the pitch will change
fromnoteonuntilitreachesthe pitchspecifiedasthe
attacklevel.
Decay Time
Specifies the time over which the pitch will change
after reaching the attack level until it reaches the nor
malpitch.
Release Time
Specifies the time over which the pitch will change
fromnoteoffuntilitreachesthepitchspecifiedasthe
releaselevel.
Pitch EG ‘Level’ modulation
AMS1/2 (L) (Alternate Modulation Source 1/2)
Theseparam etersselectthesourcethatwillcontrolthe
pitchEG“Level”parameters(“A M S (AlternateModu
lationSource)list”onpage123).
Intensity (AMS1/2 Intensity)
These parameters specify the depth and direction of
the effect applied by AMS1”. With a setting of 0, the
levelsspecified by “Start/Attack/Decay/Release Level”
willbeused.
Forexampleif“A M S 1 isJoystick+Y
,pushingthejoy
sticktoturnitonwillchangethe“Level”paramete
rsof
the Pitch EG. As the absolute value of “Intensity” is
increased,the pitchEGlevelswillchangemoregreatly
when the joystick is released. The direction of the
changeisspecifiedby“StartLev

Level Swing”. When the key pressure is released, the
pitchEGlevelswi
llreturntotheirownsettings.
IfAMS1issettoVelocity,increasingtheabsolutevalue
of“Intensity”willproduceincreasinglywiderchangein
pitchEG levelsforstronglyplayednotes.The direction
of the change is specified by “Start Lev
