Card Edit environment
The WRITE/CARD IN USE LED
16. CARD EDIT ENVIRONMENT
TheCardEditenvironmentistheplacewhereyoucan
manage files. This edit environment overlaps the cur
rent operating mode (Style Play, Song Play, Ba
cking
Sequence,Song,Program).
THE WRITE/CARD IN USE LED
Whenthedriveisreadingorwritingdataonacard,the
WRITE/CARD IN USE indicator lights up. While in a
Cardpage,the“Wait”messageappearsinthedisplay;
inthis situation,youcan’tselecta differentCardpage
(youcan,however,selectadifferentoperativemode).

SUPPORTED CARDS
Youcanusethefollowingtypesofcardstosaveorload
data to and from the microARRANGER’s internal
memory:
•SD(HighSpeed,UltraII,SDHC)
•M
MC
•MicroSDwithanSDadapter
MiniSDwithanSDadapter
Note:BeforeyoucanusetheSD/MMCcard,youmustformat
itonthemicroARRANGER.Don’tuseyourcomputerordigi
talcameratoformat(initialize)acardyouplantousewiththe
microARRANGER. If the card wa
s formatted on a different
device,itmaynotworkcorrectlywiththemicroARRANGER

dswithapower
supplyvoltageof2.7–3.6V.
SD and MMC card handling
Do not remove the card from the drive while the
microARRANGERisreadingorsavingdata.
The SD/MMC card may be hot immediately follow
inguse. Po

ecardtocoolbeforeremovingit.
SD/MMC cards are precision parts. Do not bend
them,dropthem,orsubjectthem
tophysicalshock.
AvoidusingorstoringSD/MMC
cardsinlocationsof
extremely high or low temperature such as in direct
sunlight, a closed automobile, or near a heater, or in
locationsofhighhumidityorexcessivedust.
Avoid using or storing SD/MMC cards in locations
where
theymaybesubjecttostrongstaticelectricityor
electricalnoise.
Do not allow dirt or foreign matter to adhere to the
contacts of an SD/
MMC card. If the contacts should
becomesoiled,gentlywipethemoffusingadrycloth.
WhenyouarenotusinganSD/MMCcard,keepitin
the protectivecasethatwa
s includedwiththecard to
preventitfrombeingdamagedbystaticelectricity.
Donotlea veanSD/MMCcard
whereitisaccessible
by infants or children who might place it in their
mouthandswallowit.
Carefully read and observe the owners manual
includ
edwithyourSD/MMCcard.
Write protecting an SD card
SDcardshaveawriteprotectswitchthatpreventsthe
data from being overwritten accidentally and lost. If
yousetthecard’sswitchtotheprotectedsetting,itwill
beimpossibletowriteor erase dataonthecard,orto
format it.Ifyouneed tosaveedited data on the card,
mov
e the switch back to its original unprotect
ed set
ting.
Inserting/exchanging cards
Insertingacard
Insertthecard,makingsurethatitisorientedcorrectly.
The gold contacts should be facing down, and the
angle
dcornertoyourright.
Removingacard
Pressthecardinwardandreleaseit,andthecardwill
popout.
Note:Befor
eyoucanuseanSDcard,youmustformatiton
themicroARRANGER.Thecard
maynotworkifitwasfor
mattedonanotherdevice.
